About us

Bal Gokul Playschool is part of Doon Sanskriti School, Jhajra. It was founded with the objective of spreading the light of education among those who need it the most. The school was inaugurated by "Bharat Ratna" Former Prime of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2004. Since then, the school has been serving the Himalayan communities with earnest hard work and dedication.

We accept children between the ages of 2 years to 5 years throughout the year or till the seats are full.

We follow a play-based, constructive and child-centric curriculum inspired by the Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) framework recommended by the Government of India, to promote holistic development.

Our regular preschool hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. We also offer extended day care facilities from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Yes, we provide nutritious, vegetarian meals and snacks prepared hygienically in-house. We also accommodate common dietary restrictions and allergies.

Our 12 acre campus is fully secured with CCTV surveillance, child safe infrastructure, and trained staff. We conduct regular safety drills and have a first-aid trained nurse on site.

We provide regular updates through a parent app, monthly newsletters, and parent-teacher meetings. You will also receive photo and video glimpses of daily activities.

You can visit our school or fill out an online enquiry form. After a campus tour, we schedule an informal interaction with the child and parents. Admissions are granted based on age eligibility and seat availability.
